Pam and I had a connection before we met. She was the english teacher for Suginoko and Suzumekko preschools in Japan after I moved back to the states in 2008. We lived in the same apartment, taught in the same classrooms, and share the same child/mother bond with the matriarch of Suginoko, Gota Sensei. When we finally met our spirits matched like magnets, and I was just so thrilled when she asked me to document her marriage to sweet, smart, and utterly hilarious Jeff!
We started off our coverage the night before with Pam and Jeff's impressive rehearsal dinner (this is reserved for ANOTHER journal entry) and continued on the next morning to the beautiful Benachi House for a day of celebration steeped in the particular southern charm that only New Orleans can offer.
