Ellen + Kyle embody the sort of kindness that immediately brings a smile to your face. They are warm, genuine, smart, and - as is obvious - good looking. Theirs was a celebration punctuated by a crisp elegance, and we loved every minute.

We got together on a chilly, late spring evening. I was half expecting the beach to be packed with families anxious to take advantage of the lack of rain, but the lovely stretch of sand was very nearly empty. Erica and Mike were so at ease and natural with each other. It was all about molding the light and angles and documenting their interactions. Can’t wait for their New Year’s Eve wedding!
It's not every day that we get to hike out over ice covered rocks for a beautifully natural, serenely quiet, supremely joyous elopement. Fresh flowers, fresh denim, and fresh coffee punctuated this celebration. We loved Jessica's Pendleton blanket inspired coat and the thoughtful tarot coffee mugs provided by a dear friend for a little winter wonderland toast.
This is our second in home session with the Pierce family and it's so fun to see how much little E. has grown! We really wanted to keep things natural and open, and between playtime, some yard fun, a feeding, a bath - we covered a whole evening of activity. Needless to say, time spent with the Pierce's is always so sweet. I can't wait until next time!
